“I first worked with Praveen for morbid obesity at another program, where I deeply appreciated his whole-person approach—completely different from the weight loss industry’s tendency to reduce people to problems.

Tackling the mind and sleep along with diet and exercise helped me lose 20 kgs sustainably. But that was just the beginning.

He introduced us to a profound, ancient way of approaching yoga—not as a workout but as a mind-body science. His sessions on the Yoga Sutras opened an entire inner world for me. I had never been taught that the mind is not a problem to fix, but a structure to understand and refine.

Reading the Sanskrit shlokas and comprehending their depth was sheer joy. His integration of Eastern wisdom with Western science is unique, practical, and transformative.

This work brought me back to the roots of health, clarity, freedom, and self-understanding.”

“If you are looking to go inward, to stillness, this (subtl) will be a good safe space to be. It encompassed body, speech (or rather lack thereof) and mind. It gave me space to be with me and to be with like-minded souls.”
— Tracey Woon

“The biggest breakthrough I had during the retreat was realizing that I don’t need to rush to accomplish something great, because I am already complete. What matters is simply offering myself to each present moment.

I experienced giving without expecting anything. I realised I had been so preoccupied with wanting to be loved that I hadn’t truly loved others. I practiced smiling at others and offering love without waiting for a response.

One time, some of the girls came to me for a hug. As I embraced them, I felt a pure joy in simply giving love. It didn’t matter who it was — the important thing was that I was able to give in that moment. Even the opportunity to give is itself a gift.

I realized I no longer needed to worry about how others see me. Even this body and this life are temporary gifts. From there, my perspective shifted: I don’t need to cling to anyone or prove myself. I can devote myself fully to the person in front of me and create joy in this very moment.

The retreat was not about escaping reality, but about learning how to live it more fully. It helped me remember the simple joy of being present.

One of the most powerful moments was dancing in the heavy rain with everyone. In the past, I might have felt excluded in such a lively group setting. But this time, I chose to enjoy it. I realized it wasn’t the world rejecting me — I had been rejecting the world. When I chose to love the world, it reflected that love back to me.

Even after returning to daily life, I feel able to let go of worrying about how I am perceived and instead simply choose to be there for the other person. Because of this, I now feel I can touch the inner world of others more deeply.”

“Praveen was instrumental in guiding for total fatty liver reversal. Meeting him helped me converge years of scattered practices into a clear path.”
— Hari Krishna

Praveen’s teachings have completely changed my life. I have learnt and am constantly learning new tools, practices, ways of thinking to live my life more consciously. He has demystified complex concepts like spirituality and well-being, helping me focus on my body, food, sleep, and mind. As a result, I believe I live my life more holistically, peacefully, and meaningfully.

From the concepts of the scriptures (like Tattvabodha and the Yoga Sutras) to yoga and the real meaning of the asanas, to daily practices for a healthy body and mind — the learnings are endless. I am learning to incorporate practices that bring about a balance in masculine–feminine energy, how to sit for practice, what is true wealth, and how to understand my inner shadow.

I know myself a lot more now. I react much less. I am breaking old patterns that limited me. My mobility and physical strength have improved. I have much more self-confidence and self-awareness.

Praveen is a learned and generous teacher who selflessly helps all those in his circle live more holistic, peaceful, and meaningful lives. His teachings are grounded in recognising and actualising the strength of one’s body, mind, sleep, and food from the grossest to the subtlest level.

It would be true to say that my inner life is transformed due to Praveen’s teachings.”

“Praveen is an honest, impeccable teacher and a great leader. He has a fantastic understanding of the yogic way of being and has helped me understand the importance of body and how it functions and the role of the body in our soul journey. I had always been focused on healing the soul and had resistance to body work. That has broken with Praveen's nudges, guidance, constructive feedback and support.”

“Primary Benefits — I feel ALIVE, AWAKE! My mind is the quietest it's ever been. One-on-one sessions helped me cure a 40+ year old issue with constipation. The retreats helped me understand my body and mind better, recognise deeper emotions that bubble up to the surface. His sessions on breath awareness are subtl yet easily understandable; he uses today's research in science and connects it beautifully to ancient wisdom so that we can navigate with ease.

He helps you look at all the ugly stuff inside and has helped me make peace with those dislikable aspects. Above all, he does this with LOVE and COMPASSION as he truly wants us to discover ourselves. My quiet mind helps me function with clarity, and decision-making is becoming easier.

I used to have constipation and, with Praveen’s help, got me to reverse it! I struggled with fear and inertia — but through the subtl work, there is now a sense of lion-like self-protection. I speak up when necessary, whether at work or at home, and that gives me a feeling of freedom.

I thought as a woman, my voice should forever be suppressed — I am finding ways to respectfully yet fearlessly speak up and be authentic. I thought spiritual awakening was for monks who studied scriptures and renounced the world — Praveen has helped me see that it's all within! The silence, the expansion, how we create our experiences — we can live and enjoy the senses of this world fully and not get ‘stuck’ in it.”

“Knowing Praveen has felt, in many ways, like truly knowing myself. There is something rare and precious about him — a deep non-judgmental presence that instantly makes you feel safe, seen, and held. With him, you never feel the need to defend, explain, or hide. You can simply be.

He offers a space where your inner world can unfold without fear… a space where you can reconcile with parts of yourself you had forgotten or abandoned. His presence is not loud, not forceful — but profoundly felt. And when he connects with you, healing doesn’t feel like something you do… it simply flows.

Some people guide you. Some teach you. But very few have the power to touch the deepest layers of your being. For me, Praveen is one of those rare souls. Knowing him has been a blessing, a mirror, and a gentle awakening.

From the depth of my heart, I am grateful.”

subtl was a transformative blend of tears, laughter, dance, silence, and stillness.”

“I have attended only one retreat so far, subtl 1.0, and it was a genuine turning point in my life. I have started loving myself more and have learned to truly accept myself for who I am. The most important thing I learned was to stop suppressing my energy in any way. This one realisation changed a lot for me personally.

The space felt incredibly safe, with a beautiful and diverse group of people. The collective energy was powerful and there was so much love that I could actually feel it. This is something I find missing in the outside world because people are not expressing love enough, even though it is so essential and needed in today’s times.

I have always believed that everything starts from within, that anything I want to change outside must first begin with myself. After the retreat, this belief feels even more meaningful. I have become closer to my inner self and have realised that our body itself is like a universe. We may not be able to explore the entire external universe, but we can definitely explore the universe within.

I shared my experiences with many friends and family members, and almost every single person was moved by it. Their perspectives shifted instantly. These insights are actually simple and fundamental truths that we have drifted away from because of the state of the world.

This experience was truly a gift, and I am extremely grateful for it. It also gave me immense joy to pass on this gift to others and create a positive impact in their lives. It is incredible how just one retreat has made such a big difference, and I know I have only scratched the surface of this journey. I would be more than happy to volunteer for subtl and contribute in any way possible to help this grow and share this gift with as many people as I can.”

— Nishita Biyani

“Transitioning into this work has brought me into a more harmonious space—within myself and outwardly. My relationships have improved, and life feels aligned in all aspects.

Praveen has shown me how to connect to myself and understand the true meaning of effortless living. Life beautifully aligns on its own now. What used to bother me simply doesn’t anymore; life seems to manage itself. I find myself more empathetic—towards myself and others—yet holding clear, healthy boundaries.”
Dr. Alka Walavalkar

“Don’t take yourself too seriously—have fun. Praveen’s sessions calmed the nervous system and prepared us beautifully for silence.”
— Vinay Badami

“I learnt the basics of spirituality from Praveen — yoga philosophy, karma siddhanta, and the foundations that make inner work meaningful.

One of the Yoga Sutras I learnt from him has become a constant in my life: Tapah, Svadhyaya, Ishwara Pranidhana — discipline, introspection, and surrender/acceptance. This simple triad has guided my personal and spiritual growth and given me answers in times of adversity.

I also understood the role of the mind — and beyond that, the spirit — in disease, and how one must work inwardly to improve one’s external health. This inner approach to healing has been one of the most valuable shifts I have experienced.”
Dr. Aparna Repaka

“The retreat helped me re-calibrate and reconnect with my inner world. It offered meaningful exposure to yoga, relaxation practices, and even a short introduction to Kalaripayattu. It was a powerful reset. My biggest breakthrough was the realization that my shrine is with me. Always. I can reach within anytime, anywhere.”
