“From Two Voices to One — And Finding My Purpose Again” - Prateek
“For years I felt divided inside. At the retreat, I realised the two voices were one — my own.”
For two years, I lived with an inner split.
Two voices in my mind — two perspectives, two directions, two versions of me constantly arguing, pulling, confusing, and exhausting me. I didn’t know which one to trust. I didn’t know which one was “me.”
The retreat changed that completely.
In the circle, something softened. In the exercises, something loosened. In the silence, something finally aligned.
During one of the deeper sessions, it hit me with absolute clarity:
these voices were not two different selves. They were fragments of one self trying to come home.
That single realisation changed the way I relate to my inner world.
The retreat gave me something else I had long suppressed — the freedom not to bury my energy anymore. I expressed fully, without shame, without apology, without fear. And that expression created space inside me I didn’t know I was missing.
Since returning home:
I accept myself more deeply.
The confusion has settled.
I make decisions with clarity.
I no longer silence or split myself.
I feel closer to who I truly am — not the version shaped by expectations.
And the most unexpected part?
When I shared my experience with friends and family, almost every person felt moved. Their perspectives shifted instantly.
I now feel a responsibility — almost a calling — to pass forward what touched me so deeply.
The retreat wasn’t just healing. It was direction. It was purpose.
